BIRD Successfully Releases New Software Architecture of the EWSC

Herzliya, Israel, May 2011  – BIRD Aerosystems has released the new and advanced software architecture and software application for the EW Suit Controller (EWSC).
The new software architecture offers high degree of flexibility and robustness in integrating the Controller with different Missile Warning Sensors (MWS), Radar Warning Receiver (RWR), Laser Warning Receiver (LWR), Hostile Fire Indicator (HFI), Chaff and Fare Dispensing Systems (CFDS) and Directional IR Countermeasure (DIRCM).
The new EW suite controller will provide customers with the capability to fully configure their aircraft protection in accordance with arena operational requirements.
BIRD Aerosystems Ltd. is a privately owned company established in 2001 and based in Israel. BIRD specializes in providing Airborne Missile Self Protection Systems (AMPS) that protects military, civil and VIP aircraft against Man-Portable Air Defense Systems (MANPADS) and Airborne Surveillance, Information and Observation (ASIO) systems for Maritime and ground surveillance missions.
